Singapore's overall government spending is projected to reach about 19-19.5 per cent of GDP on average over the next five years, said Tharman Shanmugaratnam, Deputy Prime Minister and Finance Minister, on Monday.
This is about 1 per cent of GDP higher than the revenues that Singapore has today, he said.
