SINGAPORE - Clouds of black smoke were seen coming out from the campus of Singapore Polytechnic where a fire had broken out, a Singapore Civil Defence Force spokesperson confirmed on Tuesday evening.

When contacted, an SCDF spokesperson said they received call at 7.35pm informing them of a fire at Singapore Polytechnic.

SCDF dispatched two fire engines, two Red Rhinos, three support vehicles and two fire bikes.

The fire involved the contents of an office and was extinguished by SCDF officers using two water jets.

There were no injuries reported. Investigations are still ongoing.
