S'porean student still missing at sea, search operations to continue through third night

Search and rescue operations for Singaporean student Goh Chuan Kiet are still ongoing and will carry on into the third night since he disappeared at sea on Sunday.

The Maritime and Port Authority of Singapore (MPA) continues to coordinate the search and rescue (SAR) operations for the missing male Singaporean.

The incident happened in the waters off the National Service Resort & Country Club (NSRCC) on 24 November 2013.

Three MPA craft, one Police Coast Guard craft and four small craft from NSRCC are involved in the search today.

MPA and the Police Coast Guard will continue the SAR operations through the night.

MPA issued safety broadcasts to vessels in the vicinity to keep clear of the SAR area and to report any sighting of the missing person.
