STB's ticketing platform shifting to Emerald Hill

SINGAPORE - Operations at event-concierge platform TicketCube will cease on June 30 as it prepares to move from its current location along Orchard Road to the new Singapore Visitors Centre at Emerald Hill, said the Singapore Tourism Board (STB) in a statement today.

Integrating TicketCube's services with others provided by the Singapore Visitors Centre, slated to open later this year, will make it much more convenient for visitors, said Jason Ong, STB's deputy director of arts.

He said: "They can obtain information and advice on arts and entertainment events in Singapore along with attractions, shows and other tourist offerings."

TicketCube was launched in 2011 to raise the availability and awareness of arts and entertainment events in Singapore by aggregating four local ticketing-service providers - ApeSnap, Gatecrash, Sistic and Ticketbooth - under one roof.
