Suspected molester arrested after attack on woman in Bedok HDB block

SINGAPORE - Police have arrested a 27-year-old man suspected of molesting a woman at Bedok Reservoir Road on October 4.

The victim reported being restrained and molested at an HDB block near Bedok Reservoir Road.

The suspect's identity was later established with the help of CCTV footage. He was placed under arrest on Wednesday.

Police believe he is also involved in another case of aggravated outrage of modesty which was reported on August 18.

He will be produced in court on Friday. If convicted, he may be jailed between two to 10 years and caned.
