Taxi crushed by massive fallen tree at Choa Chu Kang North 6

A taxi was crushed after a massive tree was uprooted and fell on it yesterday (Jun 29), at the junction of Choa Chu Kang North 6 and Choa Chu Kang Drive.

Stomp contributor Ivan, who came across the scene at around 12.50pm, took some photos and sent them to Stomp.

In the photos, the top of the taxi was evidently flattened under the weight of the tree.

The SCDF has issued an official statement on the incident:

"SCDF was alerted at about 12.55pm and dispatched one Red Rhino and one ambulance to the junction between Choa Chu Kang North 6 and Choa Chu Kang Drive.

"No one was trapped and the SCDF's assistance were not required."
