SINGAPORE - On Sept 3, police arrested two suspects, aged 17 and 19 years old, who are believed to be involved in a spate of theft of motor vans and motor lorry from the multi storey car park of Blk 675 and 676 Jurong West Street 64.
Police had received several reports of theft of motor vans and motor lorry from the multi storey car park of Jurong West Street 64 since July 28, 2013.
On Sept 4 at about 12.30 am, the suspects were arrested when entering a stolen van at the multi storey car park of Blk 676 Jurong West Street 64.
Preliminary investigations revealed that the suspects are believed to be involved in at least four similar cases of theft of motor vans and motor lorry around Jurong West Street 64.
The two suspects will be charged in the Subordinate Courts on Sept 6, 2013 for the offence of Theft of Motor Vehicle with Common intention under Section 379A of the Penal Code, Chapter 224, read with Section 34 of the Penal Code Chapter 224.
