Thief fled empty-handed

SINGAPORE - A Cash Converter outlet in Toa Payoh was broken into at about 5am on Monday. The suspected thief fled after the security alarm was triggered.

Nothing was stolen from the shop, reported Shin Min Daily News. The only damage was to the second-hand store's front glass door, which was smashed.

Investigations are ongoing.
