I use the general ticketing machines' Nets option to top up my ez-link card.
The denominations available are $10, $20, $30 and $40.
If I want to add $100 to my card, I have to make three separate transactions.
If I use cash, I can top up my card with any amount.
The options have not changed for the past eight years, but fares have gone up three times since then.
A $40 top-up will barely last a week for a daily commuter.
