SINGAPORE - Two staff members of the Choa Chu Kang Town Council have been praised for carrying a resident with walking difficulties up the stairs to his flat on the 10th floor.
According to an Omy report, a 10-hour power outage at Block 682 Choa Chu Kang Crescent had caused the lifts to stop working on Thursday.
When staff heard about a man who had walking difficulties and needed to get to his house on the 10th floor, they offered to carry him up the stairs.
Together, the two staff members took turns to carry the 70kg man up the steps to his home.
