Video of terrifying storm in Singapore leaves viewers in shock

It looked like a typhoon from any other disaster prone country but Singapore.

This video, uploaded on Facebook by Garon Tan is wildly going viral, because locals are in disbelief that our sunny island is capable of such weather.

According to the uploader, this happened in Woodlands on Thursday, Nov 13.

The scary sight shows trees fighting to withstand the strong wind, and the heavy glass doors of a building were also apparently blown wide open.

The Facebook caption read: "It blew open the shopping mall's door, McDonald's tables and chairs, dust from 2nd floor and blew lerk thai's plates over from the table top. Yes this is Singapore!"
