Wanted: Ideas for the new Science Centre in the expanded Jurong Lake Gardens

SINGAPORE - Education Minister Heng Swee Keat, who will head a committee to "re-imagine and develop" the new Science Centre, is encouraging members of the public to come up with ideas.

 Education minister Heng Swee Keat posted on Facebook today that the Science Centre is a good place where generations of Singaporeans have been able to "imagine, experience, discover and dream".

He wrote that he hoped "to have a diverse group of talented and passionate people on the committee".

These would include the best educators, scientists and researchers, industry practitioners and technologists, and people with a deep sense of wonder and love to share this.
