SINGAPORE - Next week, there will be $3,500 in prize money as we conduct a one-off edition of The Big Picture in partnership with the National Heritage Board.
To qualify, go to the Asian Civilisations Museum (ACM) this Saturday to capture the "Kampung Spirit" at this year's Bulan Bahasa or Malay Language Festival.
For this special edition, the winner will take home $1,200. Second and third place winners will get $800 and $500 respectively, while five photographers will get consolation prizes of $200 each.
Send us photos of the festivities that best capture the moments during Saturday's opening day to stand a chance to win.
Bulan Bahasa celebrates the vibrant heritage and people of the Malay community through language.
This year's official launch will be held for the first time at the ACM, at 1 Empress Place this weekend.
Each day, starting from 1 pm, there will be a colourful array of dance, music and theatre performances to captivate the entire family, set against a breathtaking collection of artefacts.
On Saturday from 8pm, local musician Art Fazil and friends will play a diverse selection, from classical tunes to Malay hip-hop.
