MALAYSIA - Malaysia's Crime Awareness Campaign has warned retailers to be on the lookout for a group of shoplifters who resort to stealing even though their kids are with them.
A video, which was posted by Evin Yeap and shared on the campaign's facebook page, shows an incident which occurred on Feb 12 at 3:52 pm in a pharmacy at Bandar Puchong Jaya, Malaysia.
Evin Yeap elaborates on what happened in her caption for the video:
"A group comprising of two women and two children, arrived at the shop, pretending to be customers.
"They registered for membership using this ID: Lee Kim Ha, IC: 880101-05-5018.
"If you happen to know who the owner of this IC is, kindly inform her and ask her to make a police report as her I.C and credit card may have been compromised.
"They pretended to purchase a lot of products using "Ms Lee's" credit card. But actually, they were stealing a lot of things from our shop!
"Please share this post so that others won't fall victim to the thieves."
