I wanted to register my child for Primary 1 online but was unable to do so.
The Education Ministry told me this was because I could not provide both parents' SingPasses.
I am a divorcee and do not have any contact with my former spouse.
Hence, I have no choice but to go to the school for the registration. This is difficult for me as I have to work.
The online registration system seems to unfairly penalise single parents.
