Spa hotel in Hoi An

Alma Courtyard Hoi An, a new spa hotel, has opened in the heart of Hoi An, Vietnam.

It has 145 rooms which are simply decorated for a spa-like feel and surround a central courtyard with terraced pools.

Every morning, guests can enjoy a free 30-minute kundalini yoga class.

There are three classes to choose from, Mind Yoga from 7 to 7.30am, Body Yoga from 7.30 to 8am, and Soul Yoga from 8 to 8.30am, which can be followed by a complimentary spa treatment.

The hotel's spa, which has 40 treatment rooms, uses local and natural products.

Until Oct 31, the hotel is offering a special package for US$145 (S$185) a night. It consists of a stay in a 25 to 35 sq m room, daily breakfast, and a daily spa treatment for US$145.

There are three spa treatments or "journeys" to choose from. Each includes 15 minutes of sandalwood sauna and floral steam, followed by a choice of a 45 minute-long massage, 10 minutes of taiji or qigong led by your spa guide and five minutes in a silent sanctuary for meditation.
