SPH Magazines wins big at 2013 Content Marketing Awards

SINGAPORE - SPH Magazines Pte Ltd ("SPH Magazines") clinched seven awards for its custom-published titles at the 2013 Content Marketing Awards. The awards, previously known as the Magnum Opus Awards, honour excellence in editorial and design in custom publishing and is the most prestigious form of recognition in this field of publishing. 800 entries were submitted by some of the best brands and marketing agencies from around the world.

SO/HO, a quarterly bilingual lifestyle magazine published for Far East Organisation and targeted at affluent, independent and well-travelled readers with a penchant for indie brands, bagged Gold for Best Editorial - New Publication and Best Overall Design.

SilverKris, the travel magazine of Singapore Airlines which has been honoured with multiple editorial and design awards over the years, also clinched Gold for Best Cover.

For its revamped content and design, ASCENT, a quarterly publication of Ascendas, won Silver for Most Improved Editorial and an Honourable Mention for Most Improved Design. SPH Magazines first published ASCENT in July last year. Ascendas is Asia's leading provider and innovator of business space solutions and its real estate portfolio includes science, IT, business, high-tech manufacturers and customised developments for a host of industries.

Other custom-published titles also continued their winning streak at the awards. Singapore Health, a bi-monthly publication of the Singapore General Hospital and the SingHealth Group and a consistent winner at the Content Marketing Awards, bagged Bronze for Best Overall Editorial.

Savour, a quarterly food magazine published for Cold Storage, received an Honourable Mention for Best Overall Editorial. Last year, it won an award in the Best Editorial - New Publication category.
