After rising 2.8 per cent in October, Singapore's non-oil domestic exports (NODX) went down again with a 8.8 per cent year-on-year drop to $12.97 billion in November, continuing the downward trend seen in much of the year. Month on month, the NODX also fell a seasonally-adjusted 9.3 per cent in November following a 3.2 per cent increase in October, International Enterprise Singapore said on Dec 17.

The declines were due to a drop in both electronic and non-electronic NODX, according to the trade promotion agency.

Electronic NODX tumbled 8.9 per cent year-on-year last month, extending from a 1.4 per cent dip in October.

Non-electronic NODX declined 8.8 per cent in November, reversing the 4.9 per cent increase in October. Non-oil re-exports continued to rise last month but by at a slower pace, easing from 26.7 per cent expansion in October to 11.2 per cent.
