Even though they sit bottom of their Asian Cup qualifying group, Singapore national football coach Bernd Stange does not want his Lions to throw in the towel.
On Thursday, the German named his 21-man squad to face Jordan in the team's final Group A fixture at Jalan Besar Stadium next Tuesday.
Last February, Jordan thrashed the Lions 4-0 in Amman, and Stange said: "It will be a tough challenge but, as we are playing at home, our players will definitely put up their best performance in front of our fans.
"We must continue to show progressive improvement and I expect nothing less from my players."
Singapore are fourth in the group with three points while Jordan are second with five. Oman lead the standings with 10 points.
The top two teams are guaranteed qualification for next year's finals in Australia.
