McLaren's second ever road car, the MP4-12C was revealed in Singapore for the first time on Thursday to prospective customers and media.
The 12C sets new standards by being the first car to feature a carbon-fibre monocell that weighs just 75kg, an engineering solution that comes from the highest form of motorsport, Formula One.
A 592bhp twin-turbo 3.8-litre V8 engine developed with Ricardo, the firm responsible for the Bugatti's dual-clutch gearbox, powers the 12C. Paired to it is a seven-speeder that was specially developed with Graziano.
