Tennis: Married life a delight for in-form Murray

MADRID - Andy Murray's brilliant start to married life with Kim Sears continued as he won only the second clay court title of his career and second in a week at the Madrid Open on Sunday.

The Scottish star wrote "marriage works" on the on-court camera after thrashing the 'king of clay' and home favourite Rafael Nadal 6-3, 6-2.

Murray has yet to lose a match since getting hitched to Sears at a ceremony in his home town of Dunblane a month ago.

The two-time Grand Slam champion won a tournament for the first time on clay on Monday in Munich.

Murray has been seen wearing his wedding ring on his shoes during matches and was quick to put it back on his finger after sealing victory over Nadal.
