Thai netizen reveals reality of 7-Eleven frozen meals
Frozen meals are a god-send for those without the luxury of time to cook a proper hot meal.
The variety of meals available has also expanded - now you can get exotic meals like Nasi Briyani, Japanese Katsu Rice and even Spaghetti Carbonara, straight from a box.
Nutritional value aside, the products sure look delicious based on the packaging.
If you are ever curious about how these frozen meals look like unboxed and microwaved, a netizen on Thai online forum Pantip has revealed the contents of more than 20 instant meals from Thailand's 7-Eleven convenience stores, RocketNews24 reported.
No word on how they taste, though.
While some meals like the Stir-fried Pork with Basil on Rice look pretty enticing, others, like the Hainanese Chicken Rice, are not quite so appetizing.
The meals all cost between 30 to 45 baht (S$1.30 to S$1.90) and a variety of Southeast-Asian, Chinese, Japanese, Korean and Western cuisines are available.
