Singapore Under-23 footballer Adam Swandi kissing his mother before his departure with the team for a training tour to Japan yesterday.

The Young Lions are preparing for next month's SEA Games in Gotemba and will play two friendlies during their May 10-17 trip.

As the players were not able to celebrate Mother's Day with the most important women in their lives, they presented their mothers with roses to thank them for their unconditional love and support that helped them realise their passion for football.
