Tickets for SEA Games football and basketball matches on sale tomorrow

SINGAPORE - Tickets the 28th Southeast Asian (SEA) Games basketball and football fixtures will go on sale tomorrow at 10am.

The last official team draw was also finalised was conducted on April 30 for Basketball, the Singapore Southeast Asian Games Organising Committee (SINGSOC) said in a statement today.

Indonesia, Malaysia, Philippines, and Timor-Leste are in Group A, while Cambodia, Myanmar, Singapore, Thailand, and Vietnam are in Group B.

For women's basketball, Philippines, Thailand, Malaysia, Indonesia, Vietnam and Singapore will be playing each other in a round robin format.

The Singapore women's basketball team will be playing Vietnam on June 9, while the men's team will battle Myanmar in their Group B match on the same day.

16-time SEA Games Gold Medalist, Philippines is set to play against Malaysia on June 11. Malaysia is the only other team in the history of SEA Games to have clinched the gold in Basketball since the sport was introduced to the Games in 1977, SINGSOC said.

In football, hosts Singapore will be playing 2013 SEA Games runners up Indonesia on June 11, while 2013 SEA Games Gold Medalist Thailand will meet Malaysia on June 4.
