TNP website gets new entertainment section

Movies, music and makan.

A new section on The New Paper's (TNP) website, appropriately called M, was launched yesterday and promises to feature the best of all of these every Wednesday.

More than 200 trade partners, marketers and advertisers gathered at the Golden Village cinema at Great World City to witness its launch and catch a preview of action movie Avengers: Age Of Ultron.

Previously, The New Paper had an entertainment section covering these subjects in print, but not online.

The website's section will also feature exclusive articles on technology, sports gear and fashion.

TNP digital editor Jonathan Roberts said: "Taking M online gives readers more - more from our regular columnists, more of the very latest entertainment news, more online exclusives and more interactive infographics."

The site - tnp.sg - has seen page views more than quadruple since its relaunch last June and now attracts more than six million a month.

"M is an an excellent platform with advertisers looking to engage the young and trendy crowd." said Ms Tan Su-Lin, deputy head of SPH Digital.

Tnp.sg also launched a new mobile-friendly look to its homepage yesterday.
