Disney offers a deeper look into new 'Avatar' theme park

Jumping on the special family moment Dec. 25 offers many families, Disney Parks released the latest, impressive peek at its new Avatar theme park on Sunday.

Last month, we showed you the realistic Na'vi animatronics that will populate the theme park, and now we're getting a glimpse of how it will mimic the bioluminescent connected forest as seen in the film.

The park will even attempt to duplicate the floating mountains (at smaller scale, of course) seen in Avatar.

The film's director, James Cameron, even shows up to gush about how stunning the park's recreation of his film will be for visitors. However, like the sequels to Avatar (the first due in 2018), the public will be the real judge of just how good it is.

"Pandora: The World of Avatar," is set to open to the public in 2017 in Bay Lake, Florida, near Orlando.
