Enjoy snow and skiing all-year-round at Harbin's new mega park

You don't have to wait for winter to enjoy snow and skiing in Harbin in China's northernmost province.

You can ski all-year-round at minus 5 degrees at the new Wanda Snow Park, which will be reportedly the world's largest indoor ski resort when it opens on June 30.

With six different ski slopes at 80-metre drop and 15,000 square metres of snow powdering the indoor winter wonderland, the park can accommodate up to 3,000 guests at any one time.

Inspired by the rustic look of Nordic towns, the attraction is part of the new Harbin Wanda Cultural Tourism City which opens on the same day.

Located in city's new Songbei district, the 20 billion yuan (S$4 billion) development also features a Russian-style theme park, which will offer simulator rides, 4D shows and theatrical performances, a movie park, a grand theatre, a mall and high-end hotels.

It is developed by the Dalian Wanda Group, China's largest commercial property company and the world's largest cinema chain operator.
