Kidzania Singapore to open in Sentosa on April 12

It is almost time for Kidzania Singapore to open its doors.

The attraction will be welcoming its first guests on April 12 at Palawan Beach, Sentosa.

Spanning 7,600 sqm across two levels, Kidzania Singapore can hold up to 1,500 people at any one time.

Both kids and parents can take on different jobs at Kidzania, such as becoming a food scientist at the Milk Innovation Lab by Abbott, or putting out a fire like a fireman.

Children age four and above will also be able to learn how to knead a pizza or churn their own ice cream at the Kidzania versions of Pizza Hut and Paddle Pop respectively.

And just like any real city job, kids will get paid. The establishment will pay children for their hard work in its own currency - kidZos. With the money earned, kids can either save up in a bank or spend it on things like food, beverages or toys from the store.

Kidzania is also slated to open in India, South Africa, France, the United States and Qatar.

Tickets are priced at $25 (for those aged from two to three years) and $58 (for those aged from four to 17). Advanced purchases can be made via the website (www.kidzania.com.sg).
