TripAdvisor's new service

TripAdvisor has launched its Vacation Rentals service in Malaysia and Singapore that allows travellers from both countries to search and compare more than 400,000 properties around the world.

Available properties are wide-ranging and for single travellers and large groups in apartments, villas, chalets, houseboats, castles, tree houses and more.

Through the 'Vacation Rentals' tab on TripAdvisor, travellers can find pictures and details on hundreds of thousands of properties.

Users can filter properties by date of stay, destination, size, amenities or options such as "private pool" or "pet-friendly", and more. When a suitable property is found, they can quickly and easily arrange payment or contact the owner with more questions, or both.
