Amazon and Google may be some of the world's best companies to work for, but having a good resume alone is not going to get you the job.

No matter how brilliant job candidates may be, some companies have managed to stump their hopeful applicants with mind-boggling, tough and sometimes odd questions.

According to testimonies on Glassdoor, some employers are now looking beyond the well-prepared candidate armed with model answers for the interview. Instead, these companies seem to be looking for candidates who can respond to unexpected situations and problems without hesitation.
