9-year-old girl models for Paris Fashion Week

The Paris Fashion Week this year had a model wowing everyone and it was not because of her outift but her age.

Nine-year-old Xiu Qiu, who is a Chinese child model, walked the runway Paris Fashion Week's 2015 Haute Couture Spring-Summer collection fashion show, one of the world's most highly anticipated fashion shows of the year.

According to English-language news site Shanghaiist, Xiu Qiu is China's first child model and this is reportedly her second time participating in Paris Fashion Week.

Photographs of the young model have been circulated on the Internet and many have taken notice of the young model's talent.

However, according to video streaming site Dramafever, some have questioned if the girl should be walking down the runway at such a young age.

Nonetheless, she has impressed many with her calm and composed demeanour, capturing the attention of those in the fashion industry even outside of China, according to Shanghaiist.

Paris Fashion Week is a biannual event in the French fashion capital, held to showcase the spring/summer and autumn/winter trends.
