Cecilia Cheung's son not used to new 'uncle' who 'steals' her away

After her divorce from ex-husband and Hong Kong actor, Nicholas Tse, Cecilia Cheung seems to have moved on with her life.

According to Asian entertainment website Jaynestars, although Cheung's sons, Lucas and Quintus, are treated very well by the man, Lucas still misses his father, Tse, and does not warm up to his mother's 'new guy'.

The man is identified as Earn Chen, a 41-year-old Singaporean restaurateur, according to an unconfirmed report by Lianhe Wanbao on Oct 17.

Cheung, the 34-year-old Hong Kong actress who is now living in Singapore, has reportedly accepted Chen as her new partner, who has been pursuing her for six months.

However, it seems that Lucas has not come to accept this new "uncle", whom he feels has 'stolen' his mommy away, according to Jaynestars.

The Straits Times understands that Chen is the founder of the menswear store chain Surrender and creative director of hip eatery Potato Head Folk. It is also said that he is friends with K-pop star G-Dragon and local actress Fiona Xie.

According to Jaynestars, Chen was spotted picking Cheung up at Singapore's Changi Airport after her arrival from Hong Kong on Oct 11.

The couple then drove Lucas and Quintus out for lunch at a Thai restaurant after resting inside Cheung's $20 million HKD (S$3.28 million) home.

It was reported by Jaynestars that while Chen was putting food on Cheung's and Quintus' plates, the more defiant 7-year-old Lucas turned his back to Chen. Instead, he focused on playing games on the iPad.

At the restaurant, Chen and Cheung were spotted donning matching watches. After finishing their lunch, Chen intimately placed his hand on Cheung's back as they were leaving the restaurant in his black Porsche, according to Jaynestars.

Later that night, it was understood that Cheung and Chen went out again after she left her sons at home. They dined at Chen's restaurant, Tong Ah, in Keong Saik Road and chatted happily throughout the meal. Cheung, who is a smoker and drinker, only had tea that night and was not drunk, reported Jaynestars.

Reports stated that Cheung first met Chen several months ago at his restaurant where she frequently patronises.

An insider told Jaynestars: "After Cecilia found out (Chen) goes to the same church, they had more things to talk about. At first, Cecilia treated Chen as a normal friend and agreed to meet together at church or for lunch.

"Cecilia has many pursuers over the last two years, but she was not interested in any of the men. She still had someone inside her heart. Last month when she realised it was impossible to get back together with Nicholas Tse, she decided to accept (Chen). She felt that he is mature and takes care of her sons."

According to Jaynestars, Chen will bring Cheung's sons out to buy toys and visit amusement parks.
