December wedding not on the cards: HK actress Myolie Wu

Hong Kong actress Myolie Wu has refuted rumours that she and businessman boyfriend Philip Lee are planning a December wedding.

According to tabloids, Myolie, 35, whose contract with TVB ends in July, had already accepted Lee's proposal and the couple enjoyed a 'pre-honeymoon' last month in Maldives.

She had also reportedly asked her close friends in the industry to be her bridesmaids. They include actresses Nancy Wu, Mandy wong, Elaine Yiu and Paisley Wu.

However when queried by reporters, Myolie responded via WhatsApp, denying the rumours.

She said: "None of it is true, my boyfriend is not in the showbiz industry, I hope everyone can give him some space."

She also expressed her wish that people will stop calling Lee, 40, the "beauty queen killer", in reference to his apparent penchant for dating Hong Kong pageant beauties.

They include actress Selena Li, with whom he's still on good terms with, according to JayneStars. Lee has also been linked to model-actress Kelly Cheung.

According to My Paper, Lee - who used to work in finance in London - has moved into Myolie's home in Hong Kong. It was also reported that Lee is just one of 20 investors in a Hong Kong nightclub, and is not the sole proprietor as previously speculated.

Reports also alleged that Myolie may be worth more than her boyfriend financially - proof of her devotion to him if they get married.

As to when that day will come, Myolie reassured: "Don't worry, I've said before that if there's any good news, I'll definitely share it with everyone. Thank you all for your concern."
