SINGAPORE - This year luxury brand Hublot turns 10, and it is celebrating in a big way - quite literally, with its massive pop-up store at the Civic Plaza of Ngee Ann City.
Towering 7m tall and occupying 1,050 sq m, the pop-up store was launched by movie star Donnie Yen last weekend.
The pop-up is there till Aug 26, so you can go on down to check out its stunning, limited edition luxury watches that are exclusive to Singapore.
Launched specially for its 10th anniversary and in commemoration of Singapore's golden jubilee is timepiece called Hublot "Red Dot" Big Bang. It is set in two cases - Hublonium and yellow gold. Hublonium is a special metal that is extra light, and supposedly very durable. In this design, there only 50 pieces produced. Its price: $36,000.
In gold, they are limited to 10 pieces. Its price: $66,400.
To up the "big" factor, the watch brand also created the Hublot Manufacture MP-05 La Ferrari Golden Jubilee.
What is unique about this timepiece is that it is "the world's first timepiece with a 50-day power reserve", says Hublot.
Featuring a yellow gold case set with 440 baguette-cut diamonds worth at least 13 carats, there is only one of it in the world and it is right here in Singapore.
"The Hublot Manufacture MP-05 La Ferrari is considered the super machines of all time machines thus making it a suitable model to develop one especially for Singapore," said Hublot.
If that's not enough, Hublot's lifestyle gears and merchandise are also available for sale at the pop-up.
