How would you describe your sense of style?
I would say I am a fashion chameleon. Ultimately, what I put on depends on my mood and what I'm about to do that day. I'm never afraid to try new things and I can be rather indecisive, which is why I don't keep to just one style. But recently, I've really been in a "throwback to the 1970s" phase. I absolutely love the bohemian vibe, bell bottoms, suede and crop tops.
Who are your favourite designers and what are your go-to brands?
They change all the time. I am now obsessed with Saint Laurent, Christian Dada and Gucci.
I especially love this Saint Laurent studded jacket (photo 1), which I got in Paris at half price at a sale.
Do you admire any style icons?
I admire Rihanna's sense of style and how she plays a lot with pieces. She pulls off trends in an unconventional way.
What are your favourite three pieces in your wardrobe?
I love this Hermes Birkin (photo 2) because it's small and easy to carry. It's more spacious than it looks and I can put many items inside. It has become one of my everyday bags.
Another favourite piece is this bralet from British online store Boohoo (photo 3). I like that it's very versatile - it can be dressed up or down. I can wear it under a T-shirt or under a jacket.
I am also a sucker for denim. As much as I love dressing up, I love dressing down in denim shorts. My favourite pair is this one from Topshop (photo 4). Topshop carries great denim at affordable prices. I really like this because of its rugged, oversized and straight cut. I pair it with an oversized shirt.
What is your weakness when it comes to shopping?
I tend to fall in love with seasonal things which are out of the ordinary and very quirky. I am especially attracted to novelty items, home decor and headgear.
What is your favourite splurge piece?
I think generally all the items I have are splurge pieces, but one that I purchased which I have no regrets about is this Fendi Peekaboo Micro (photo 5). It cost $2,060. It was a splurge because it is really expensive for its extra small size.
Is there a purchase you've really regretted?
No.
What is your most recent fashion purchase?
My Christian Louboutin Iriza pumps (photo 6). I had another pair, but they were ruined due to an unfortunate escalator mishap. They were my favourite so I had to buy a new pair.
What is the best shopping or style advice you live by?
Wear what makes you happy and feel comfortable in. The best shopping advice I have is to sleep on it and if the next day you are still thinking about it, then head back and buy it. At the end of the day, I believe in "Que Sera, Sera" (whatever will be, will be).
