Get discount on mascara with this ad

Ladies, the next time you are at a bus stop, keep an eye out for a Maybelline advertisement that looks like a mascara vending machine, because it might just help you save some money.

The New York cosmetics brand is giving a 30 per cent discount on the Volum' Express Rocket Mascara to those who scan a QR code found on the ad.

But here's the catch. You have 15 minutes to flash the discount coupon and purchase the mascara at the discounted price from Watsons, Guardian or SaSa. The discount rate will go down by 5 per cent every three minutes, so the faster you get your hands on the mascara, the greater the discount.

The mascara, which costs $18.90, features a multi-patented brush with uniformly spaced and flexible bristles that coat lashes evenly from root to tip.

It is fuelled by a gel-based, latex-like formula that is smooth and light, so it does not weigh down lashes.

The promotion runs till Wednesday.
