Retail shops are constantly reinventing themselves to provide consumers with a unique customer-service experience.
Take the Project Shop at Paragon shopping mall. Within its retail space is a cafe where customers can enjoy a cup of coffee while they rest their weary feet.
The latest retailer to offer more than just shopping is online shop Bag Bistro, which opened its first retail outlet in Beach Road last week.
Instead of just offering a selection of bags, Bag Bistro has partnered with nail spa Manicurious so that customers can get their nails done while they shop.
But that's not all. For those who are feeling peckish, Manicurious also offers handcrafted coffee and pies.
"We want to create a cosy boudoir that allows our customers to sip, shop and stay for a while," said Bag Bistro founder Sherrey Chng-Bahuguna.
Bag Bistro started off as an online luxury trove offering a curated selection of the season's picks and best of runways by luxury houses like Givency, Bottega Veneta and Fendi.
It also carries cult labels such as Proenza Schouler and Alexander McQueen.
Over at the shop, customers will be able to find brands such as Givenchy, Celine, Fendi, Chloe, Loewe and Saint Laurent Paris, as well as a range of accessories.
Bag Bistro also plans to launch exclusive nail art inspired by the season's collections.
Now, how's that for one-stop shopping and pampering?
