This YouTuber has an interesting method of applying mascara that helps make her lashes look thicker, darker and fuller.

First, she places the wand under her top lashes to begin swiping at their base. Then she moves the wand over the lashes and coats them in a downward motion.

This "up and down" technique made her lashes look longer instantly. She also explains the importance of letting mascara dry before adding a second layer.

By doing so, she says length and volume will be added to your lashes.
