Jay Chou shares photo of his daughter Hathaway's face - almost

It was a case of so close, yet so far for Jay Chou fans eager for a good look at his baby daughter Hathaway's face.

In the latest pictures shared on the Taiwanese pop king's Weibo account, Chou is seen holding little Hathaway as they pose for a photo with his wife, Hannah Quinlivan.

Hathaway may be a little media-shy herself, as her raised left fist obscures most of her facial features. Another shot shows the family from the side.

The photos were taken at a celebration to mark the 100th day since the baby's birth. Chou also reportedly thanked friends and family for attending the party.

The couple have yet to show off their daughter's entire face. Chou had shared a photo of himself and his daughter, with her back to the camera, when she was one month old.

In October, Quinlivan posted a photo of the top half of Hathaway's face on Weibo, sparking interest in China and Taiwan as fans marvelled at the girl's long eyelashes.

Inheriting dad's musical talent?

In a Facebook post on Nov 6, Quinlivan also shared a short video clip of baby Hathaway tinkering on a virtual smartphone keyboard.

The video, taken from a top-down angle, still does not show baby Hathaway's face clearly.

The proud mum captioned the video: "Activating her potential.. Daddy better be careful"
