Jewellery collection inspired by Nizams on display in Singapore

The spectacular jewels of the Nizams of Hyderabad will descend on Singapore for the first time, as Art Karat presents its latest jewellery collection inspired by the jewels.

The original jewels were in the possession of the Indian government and have been showcased in musems around the country.

In the Nizam - The Museum Jewels collection, designer and Art Karat founder Asha Kamal Modi has recreated stunning pieces that reflect the Mughal, Deccan and European influences of the original jewels.

The collection also marks the first time that a designer has recreated the Nizam jewels in silver rather than gold, making it more affordable for the woman who desires a piece of this timeless tradition.

Art Karat, known for its silver jewellery and exceptional kundan craftsmanship, has created over 700 designs for the collection, which includes necklaces, long earrings, bracelets, bajubandhs, tikkas, rings and pins.

Each individual piece is a work of art that highlights the creativity and effort that has gone into designing the pieces.

The collection is a must-see for those who are fascinated by breathtaking designs and the original Nizams of Hyderabad.

The jewellery will be on display at the Mandarin Orchard Hotel from

Nov 7 to 16. Prices for the jewellery range from $100 to $3,000.
