Maggie Q in couple debut

LOS ANGELES - Among the couples turning up for the Golden Globes' many after-parties was a surprise: Hong Kong actress Maggie Q and Hollywood actor Dylan McDermott.

At the InStyle and Warner Bros party, they made their red-carpet debut as a couple, standing close to each other as McDermott, 53, placed his hand on her back.

Q, 35, was in a tight, backless black gown and he wore a black suit.

They have not publicly acknowledged their relationship, but a source told E! News last October that they were dating.

They were seen together for the first time last September, shopping in California.

But on social media, all their posts are focused on promoting their CBS series Stalker, said E!.

In the police drama, which started airing last October, they star as detectives who probe stalking cases for the Los Angeles Police Department.

McDermott ended his 14-year marriage to actress Shiva Rose in 2009. They have two daughters.

Q was linked to Naked Weapon (2002) co-star Daniel Wu.

Others spotted at the bashes included singers Lorde and Taylor Swift, actress Katie Holmes, Singapore's Chin Han, Helen Mirren and actor Benedict Cumberbatch with fiancee Sophie Hunter
