Malaysian singer Fish Leong gives birth to a boy

Malaysian singer Fish Leong has given birth to a boy today, Chinese website NetEase reported.

Her husband, Taiwanese wine trader Tony Chao, announced the birth on Weibo today, saying: "Both little Anderson Chao, who reported to us today, and his mum are fine. Thanks for your concern."

In October last year, the couple likewise took to Weibo to announce that Leong was pregnant, saying that her baby will be born in 2014.

The 35-year-old singer said on the microblog service: "Been looking forward to this... And now, our family will have another member soon, born in the year of the horse. Thanks, everyone, for your blessings!"

The baby is Leong's first child with her husband of three years, Tony Chao. Asian Pop News reported that Chao commented on Weibo too, saying: "Our family is going to have a new member who will snatch my Lego with me."
