Mrs Clooney will steal spotlight

Giuliana Rancic believes all eyes will be on one person at the golden globe Awards today.

And she's not even a celebrity.

Hollywood A-lister George Clooney's lawyer-wife Amal Alamuddin, 36, grabbed headlines when she married the heart-throb last September.

And Rancic has her money on Mrs Clooney stealing the spotlight from even her actor-husband when she makes her first red carpet entrance with him at the awards ceremony.

"From her beautiful Oscar de la Renta wedding gown to her stunning outfits after that, she is proving to be a fashion muse right now.

"She's not even nominated, but she probably has first dibs on any designer she wants to wear. She has incredible legs that I hope she shows," Rancic told international reporters in Los An-geles last week at a separate press conference to promote E!'s Live From The Red Carpet.

Together with US DJ-host Ryan Seacrest, the pair will be in the midst of red carpet action at today's Golden Globes.

The pre-awards segment will air on E! Entertainment (StarHub Ch 441) at 7am.

One can perhaps expect the standard banter between the two and their usual attempts at poking fun at each other while hosting the red carpet segment.

Of the pair's chemistry, Seacrest, 40, said he likes to "throw Giuliana off".

Rancic then piped in: "Do you remember several years ago when I was wearing that beautiful silver dress with my hair pulled back and you said I looked like a baked potato?"

She added: "People think it's a shtick with us, but we can be pretty wicked with each other sometimes. Even if we love each other to death."
