New editor-in-chief for Harper's Bazaar Singapore

SINGAPORE - Former Creative Director of Harper's Bazaar Singapore, Mr Kenneth Goh, has been appointed Editor-in-Chief of the high-fashion magazine's Singapore edition.

Kenneth, who has been with the title for the last 10 years, has effectively fulfilled roles from Fashion Director and, most recently, Creative Director, Fashion and Beauty.

Kenneth and his team are responsible for the spreads that have garnered Harper's Bazaar Singapore much attention and recognition across the region and the world.

His creative talents have secured some of the most famous names in the entertainment and fashion industry on exclusive covers and spreads for both Harper's Bazaar Singapore and Malaysia. These include Victoria Beckham, Eva Longoria, Michelle Dockery, Christy Turlington, Cindy Crawford, Naomi Campbell and Janet Jackson to name a few.

SPHM Publishing Director, Bridget Hope, said: "Kenneth was our first choice for the role of Editor-in-Chief. He has long been the creative force behind the magazine and is one of the few fashion executives who can ensure both deep editorial and commercial relationships. We are confident he will take Harper's BAZAAR Singapore to the next level."

Added Kenneth, "I am proud to be leading one of the region's finest high-fashion magazines into a new era. Harper's BAZAAR Singapore is already at the top of its industry with the most talented team anywhere and strong partnerships with fashion's biggest brands."

"Together with management, we have exciting plans to continue our growth alongside our important fashion and beauty partners and take BAZAAR Singapore into a fully integrated online presence. I look forward to sharing these plans with our many industry friends in the coming months."

Kenneth takes on his new role of Bazaar Singapore Editor-in-Chief with immediate effect. He will remain Creative Director, Fashion & Beauty for Bazaar Malaysia, working closely with Editor-in-Chief, Natasha Kraal and her team in the Kuala Lumpur office.

Current Editor, Lauren Clarke Jensen is moving back to New York with her family. The staff and team and SPH Magazines wish her all the best for the future and thank her for her service over the past three years.
