New kid on the k-beauty block

South Korean skincare brand Goodal makes its debut at selected Guardian stores, as well as at BHG Bugis from today.

The brand employs a raw seed fermentation method to prepare the main ingredients in its range of skincare.

According to the brand, the 30-day fermentation process extracts enzymes from seven kinds of seeds and nuts comprising argan, olive, macadamia, sunflower, jojoba, camellia, as well as green tea seeds.

The fermentation process supposedly makes the oil produced more potent and easily absorbed.

Goodal's star products start from $32.90.

Our favourite: the multi-purpose Super Seed Oil Plus Skin Mist ($39.90, photo), which is an all-in-one mist, toner, serum and lightweight moisturiser.
