Plus-sized woman asks to be made beautiful through Photoshop

Plus-sized woman asks to be made beautiful through Photoshop
The original, makeup free and unretouched photo.

Have you ever wondered what your picture would look like if you sent it to 21 Photoshop experts from around the globe?

Well, that's what Marie Southard Ospina, a plus-sized woman did and the results she got back are not quite what she had expected.

Before embarking on the unique experiment Ospina said:

"I'm…aware that the notion 'thin is the only beautiful' doesn't permeate the entirety of the world…

"So, inspired by Honig and Yuki, and my own perceptions of weight and beauty, I decided to replicate their original experiments - with a plus-sized twist."

Previously, similar experiments were also conducted by other women, reports Elite Daily.

The first was conducted by Esther Honig and the second by journalist Pricilla Yuki Wilson.

What makes Ospina's different is that she is a plus-sized woman and wanted to see how strangers around the world would edit a photograph of her to make her what they would consider "beautiful."
