This jumbo-sized bronzing powder will probably last you more than six months.

Besides the silky feel I got after applying it on top of my foundation, this is just what I need for my tanned complexion.

The sculpted look you get from using this comes across as very natural, at least more natural than any other bronzing powders I have tried.

But if you do not apply it carefully with the brushes you have, the final result can look "heavy".

I used the Marc Jacobs The Bronze Bronzer Brush No. 12, which the brand recommends, and the application came out even.

Using the brush also ensured that I did not look like I had a really bad tan.

Available at all Sephora stores.

BOBBI BROWN BRONZING POWDER

This matte bronzing powder has many uses.

First, brush on at the right spots and it can be used to contour your face.

You can also use it to help bring out a sun-kissed look.

The powder is made up of a combination of red and brown tones, making it suitable for most skin tones.

Avoid bronzers, which make your face look orange.

In this case, orange is so not the new black.

This powder does not give you that ugly orange tinge.

Just make sure that you apply moisturiser before the bronzer because dry skin and bronzers do not go hand in hand.

Available at all Bobbi Brown stores.

URBAN DECAY NAKED BASICS

Everyone raves about Urban Decay's Naked range.

The palette may be tiny, but you can get a lot out of it.

The natural brown matte eyeshadow shades do more than just define your eyes.

Out of the six colours, the Faint shade is a no-fail choice for tanned girls, while Naked 2 would be great for fairer-skinned girls for sculpting.

While you are at it, do not forget to make your eyebrows pop by applying the Venus shade right below your eyebrow arch.

This will help define your brows and make them stand out.

This is one palette every woman needs to own.

Available at all Sephora stores.
