S'pore woman makes Vivian Hsu cry with 'best birthday present ever'

When Vivian Hsu turns 40 this Thursday (Mar 19), you might think she could expect a slew of birthday presents.
To her, it's quality and not quantity that matters.
The Taiwanese singer-actress has spent the last year living in Singapore and last week, she opened up on Instagram about her time here.
Since marrying her Singapore-based Indonesian hubby Sean Lee last year, she has not made many friends.
But there is one female friend who has been helping her adjust to life on our island for which she is very grateful.
In fact, this Singapore woman's friendship made her cry.
Hsu adds:
"I'm the kind of the person who is normally bubbly and would usually smile and laugh at things but today I couldn't control my eyes. I cried a huge amount. A person doesn't need many friends, just someone who really understands you, who will make you happy, ask about you... Being this touched (by her friendship) is the best birthday present ever. Thank you."
