Swift's 25th birthday was a star-studded event

New York - Taylor Swift was the headline act at New York City's annual holiday concert Jingle Ball last Friday, but it was the after-party celebrating her 25th birthday and that featured many of the night's performers that stirred talk.

And what a crowd it had, as was reported.

Justin Timberlake and power couple Beyonce and Jay-Z led the pack of VIPs who were driven to the singer's Tribeca apartment, where booze flowed and boxes of pizzas arrived.

Other guests included Sam Smith, Karlie Kloss, girl band HAIM, Selena Gomez, Jaime King, Iggy Azalea, Emma Roberts, Ansel Elgort, Kelly Osbourne, Nick Jonas and Chrissy Teigen.

The birthday girl, who has the current No. 1 hit, Blank Space, herself arrived in her stage outfit - a plaid two-piece costume - after she spent the first minutes of her birthday, which fell on Dec 13, performing onstage to happily screaming, dancing fans.

The country-turned-pop singer put the pictures on Instagram. "When you're making a wish, but you already have all you really need standing around you," she captioned two photos of herself in a Santa hat with a lighted cake as partygoers surrounded her.

A picture of Timberlake in a fun hat with Jay-Z, Beyonce, Smith and others had the post, "So this is being 25..... #WHAT #bestbirthdayEVER".

Last Friday, she was onstage at the Billboard Magazine Women In Music event with other singers when Queen of Soul Aretha Franklin belted out Happy Birthday. Swift was named Billboard's Woman of the Year at the event
