Tailor shop re-named

Bespoke men's tailoring shop Leong Tailors has been relaunched as "1:1.618 x Leong T" at The Library bar at 47 Keong Saik Road. The name is a nod to the mathematical golden ratio. Leong Tailors was founded in 1974 by Mr Chow Leong Choy, and was located in Hong Leong Finance Building.

The founder has since retired from the front-end business and the shop was relaunched by his grand-nephew, former business development executive Mr Jonathan Chiang, 29.

In addition to tailoring services, the 10 sq m concept store at the entrance of the bar offers handmade accessories, shoes and perfume. Prices start from $40 for accessories, such as bracelets, and $1,200 for a suit.

The shop plans to hire a part-time cheongsam maker to offer women's tailoring services.
